Kick off National Safe Boating Week with ACA Kayaking 101!

Summer is right around the corner and kayaking is a great way to enjoy Florida’s beautiful outdoors! Florida State Parks and the certified paddlesports instructors of ACA Florida are teaming up to get you started!

As part of National Safe Boating Week, Florida State Parks, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and US Coast Guard Auxiliary are partnering with the American Canoe Association to offer low-cost kayaking instruction on Saturday, May 18. This event will take place throughout the day at various state parks in Tampa Bay.

All the instructors are nationally certified to give paddling and rescue training, and are supported by experienced safety teams.

Your registration fee covers the rental of your kayak, paddles and life vest in addition to the Kayaking class, which can typically cost between $75-$150 per person. Take advantage of this great deal and register today to secure your spot! Space is limited.

If you are new to paddling, looking to meet paddling friends or have had a bad experience and are looking to learn a better way to go about it, register today!
