2023 Tampa Bay Boating & Fishing Summer Camp

TBKA Boating & Fishing Summer Camp returns to Oldsmar

2024 Summer Camp dates coming march 2024

Get your kids out on the water this summer with Tampa Bay Kayak Anglers’ Boating & Fishing Summer Camp in Oldsmar. Developed for young beginner anglers, campers will be taught how to rig a rod, tie knots, select and seine baits, build a tackle box and navigate a Jon boat. As we explore Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve, campers will learn first-hand about fish ecology, safe boating skills, and how to follow current regulations.

If you’re looking for Tampa Summer Camps that get your kids outside and active, our program will do just that. The TBKA Boating & Fishing Summer Camp is perfect for children and teens interested in fishing, boating, marine biology, conservation or fish ecology. This one-week Summer Camp in Oldsmar will include hands-on learning, special guest demonstrations, team building exercises, and art projects. Conservation Efforts

TBKA Campers Help Remove Widespread Invasive Species

Mayan Cichlids are a non-native, invasive species that is widespread throughout Florida. This non-native species has become a nuisance for the FWC to control in Tampa Bay. In 2022, TBKA campers fished hundreds of cichlids out of local ponds, helping preserve our struggling native species in Tampa Bay.
